Since we had this thread over on the Heat Message Boards we should have it here as well. As of right now he's shooting 36% from mid range so not atrocious but below average for the best shooting guard in the league. Let's see if he makes progress in the 2nd half of the season. |

Interesting. Do you happen to know his career percentage from mid-range? I'm just wondering, I thought that it would be a higher percentage.... |

His career average is about 38% in 2008-2009 he shot 42% which is his career high and last year he shot 36% from mid so you could see his mid range game has indeed regressed. Btw you can find this information at hoopdata.com |

Thank you asdf. I normally use basketball-reference.com and occassionally 82games.com for my statistics. I'll keep that in mind.
Maybe Wade should start using his bank-shot more like he did in 05. That would get that percentage up, in fact we saw him bring the banker back a few times earlier on in the season. |

Wade's J was in good shape against the Knicks. What's sure is that Wade's a rythm mid range shooter. His mechanic is ok, his leap is ok, actually even the ones that he misses is good shots. So it's a matter of time till he will get on rythm. |

I think it was rly good vs Thunder. He made some fadeaways, but I don't remeber how many... |

I'd also like to see that i remember during the 05 and 06 season i was soo confident in his jumper and loved that bank shot it made him seem even more unstoppable. |
