Last night i was pregaming at a friends house before deciding to head to downtown FTL. We ended up playing this Jersey Shore drinking game through which my friend Nick and I demolished a half a handle of Jack. At around 11, we decided to head out and i was the DDD.So i load my car with 6 very drunk people including myself, nick and a 6'6 African who goes to school in Michigan(seriously, the dude is from Camroon) and start speeding towards DT. I was going about 60 in a 35 with the windows down and the music cranked when we get lit up by BSO. I saw the cop see me and follow me and was literally shaking. I get to a place that we can pull over and see that there was not 1, but 3 cops there, so i think im triply fucked. So the cop asks for license and registration and the IDs of everybody in the car and actually recognizes Mark (the african guy)from the night before. Luckily the cop was a Michigan fan and the whole ordeal turned into an OSU joke session. This made me feel like i was just going to get a ticket and be sent on my way......until one of the other cops comes to my window and looks around inside and sees a GIANT ASS can of strongbow chillin in my cupholder. he asks to see it and then goes back to the other cop and tells him Ive got an ope container, so all hope had faded faster than a Miami Heat halftime lead and i was trying to accept the fact that i was going to be raped in jail. The reason for the title is what happened next, which i will never forget. The original cop comes to my door again with the little booklet you get with a ticket. he proceeds to hand me the booklet and explain that the ticket should be $255 and explains that he would charge an additional 100 for having OSU fans in the car(jokingly). he then says "but im not writing you the ticket, so you are getting a $255 warning tonight" i thanked him graciously and we drove off and got shitty DT......i am far too awesome to get a DUI

also, i now LOVE BSO!

Too dope... Thankfully i've never been pulled over but have been caught drinking underage multiple times and every time the cop is way chill and just jokes around and lets me go with a warning
(here in utah not sure if it's like this other places.. but if you get caught drinking underage once they either suspend your license until your 21 and you get a huge ass like $600 fine OR you get a huge ass $500 fine with weekly alcohol tests (1 or 2 times a weak which you pay for everytime) and if you fail one of thoose you have to go to AA and get tested on this alcohol tests that goes back 5 days and are like $30 a test EVERY WEEK! my life would be over if i ever got caught..)

Anyway, IMO cops are chill as fuck in my life I've met like 2 douche bag cops and like 30 that were funny and chill.

I have only had one run-in with the cops and that was because me and my friends had these popper things that we stole out of one of their older sister's boyfriends car and we just scattered them on the road and passing cars would go over them and it sounded like firecrackers going off. People were getting pissed (thinking we were throwing rocks at their cars), then eventually cops came and after some explaining, we were let off (we were all about 15 at the time). Good times lol.
