Not official or anything just somewhere we can talk with active posters in the thread about video games and shit (so if you wanna post a new topic for some game go ahead it won't be deleted)

Anyway anyone here gonna get Dragon Age II?

I probably won't be buying it tomorrow when it comes out but hopefully a friend of mine will buy it and i could borrow it really quick Very Happy

I keep hearing about Dragon Age Origins, is that game any good? It's got to be based in medieval times, but what is the plot and how is the gameplay?

I have a big list for 2011. I pre-ordered InFamous 2 for July 2nd (the day it comes out for pre-orders) way back when I got 2K11.

Right now my list is:

UnCharted 3: Drake's Deception
Resistance 3
Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One
InFamous 2
NBA 2K12

And y'all going to clown on me, but I have thought about one of the new Pokemon games. I grew up on those games and one of my BF's from Texas is a diehard fan and he has told me many good things about the new games. I'll probably get one of them pre-owned around X-Mas when they're around 20 dollars and I'm done beating InFamous and Resistance.

Any other suggestions? I only have a PS3 for new Gen console, but I also own a PS2, GameCube, N64 and 2 older nintendos. I'll play anything to waste time, but right now I'm working on fully synchronizing in Assassins Creed Brotherhood and the GOW and Sly Cooper series.

I just got done playing Fallout:New Vegas and if i hadnt played ME2 directly before i would have thought it was good, but ME2 is perfect, the greatest game in this generation of gaming and second greatest ever IMO....in this case, ME2 makes New vegas seem like a big, steaming pile of shit.....it also crashes and freezes more than an eskimo on adderoll

as for uncharted, i played the first one and got REALLY stuck, so I gave up...then the game got stolen.......as far as New Vegas goes....its the same graphics engine as the old one, just a different world...its not terrible, but it is flawed and outdated

What part did you get stuck on? I understand, a large aspect of UnCharted is puzzle solving.

it was an area in one of the temples where you drop down a ledge and guys constantly respawn in front of you....it kept loading me right in the middle of that area and i got frustrated after a few hours....i dunno, there are gloomy columns and shallow water on the ground....also I HATE looking up walkthroughs because honestly whats the point? i eventually did look at the walkthrough and i still couldnt not get killed befor reaching the next area

I know what part your talking about, it's a dark room in what looks like an underground cave or tavern, your in there with Sully if I'm not mistaken. There are pillars and your suppossed to pull down these triangle shaped switches and eventually a hole in the floor appears or something.

It's been a while since I played Drake's Fortune, it was the first game I got for my PS3 back in mid-08. There is a lot of puzzle solving stuff similar to that in the two games, but they're both fun. Among Thieves is a lot better than the first one though.

Portal 2 came out last tuesday. It's awesome. Needless to say. Since that game is out it's time to start obsessing over the next big thing...

Sigh... predicted to release Winter 2011. No confirmations on that.

Pikmin series kicks ass. Why do game developers taunt us with huge wait times between releases!?

Just saw more InFamous 2 Footage on GTTV this morning, and damn this game's story is looking deep as hell. Over 1,100 missions or something like that (the first game had around 140 I believe) and they're bringing back the whole Karma thing, this time Cole has 2 female teammates that kind of play the role of good angel and the devil on Cole's shoulders lol.

The game's storyline picks up from the first game with "The Beast" but now you have many more enemies, a rich guy being one, an insect monster that gives birth to armies of insects that hates Cole for another, The Beast of course and an on-going war between the cities Army and a group called "The Rebels". This game is looking real deep, great graphics and a lot more added on since the First game. Looking epic, glad I pre-ordered it.
